ANYWAY, throughout the year poor Joe has to hear "this would make a good Christmas (or birthday) present for me" or even get links sent to him for online items I am eyeing. More than half the time I forget I even ask for these things by the time the gift giving occasion rolls around.
So what did he give me for Christmas?
An upgraded wedding band!
It was something I mentioned probably around October. My original wedding band and engagement ring were sapphire and I loved them. BUT the wedding band was too big, and the engagement ring snagged on everything I brushed my hand by. I knew a baby coming up would mean I would not want to wear either ring for fear of scratching her or losing them. So I mentioned it would be nice to have a good fitting ring I could wear all the time.
He picked it out all by himself. And it fits perfectly. And I love it. And it doesn't snag on anything or anyone.
I hope he loves the Norelco razor I bought him just as much...
