Staining the fence

I won't keep you waiting with baited breath on the color we chose for our fence. The color we chose was...
P1020534
Not this color. I really thought we were going to stain it the grey/blue "Stonehedge" by Behr. But we stopped by Lowe's one day and saw a demonstation of Cabot colors on pressure treated wood and we were sold. In the meantime, I did stain one of our adirondack chairs the Stonehedge. Perfect for chairs, not so much for a fence.

No, for the fence we went with...
P1020536
Cabot's Jabba Brown. It is awesome, and goes on really smoothly if you use a lambswool rag. And we have to send major shout out of thanks to Joe's sister Mandy who he somehow Tom Sawyer'd into getting her to stain this entire section of fence:

I should have remembered to get a picture of her when she was getting ready to leave. I really hope the stain on her arms and legs comes off by her November wedding... eep. And Grandma Mary and Grandpa Todd came over to watch Ruby while I stained and shoveled dirt. Thanks so much you guys!
